OH JESUS. lets recap, shall we? raped, brainwashed, abused and fed on caroline, while making her hate herself, and generally was an asshole to her invaded elena’s subconscious killed that uncle dude not to mention COUNTLESS people over the past century and a half turned vicki and ruined her life out of boredom killed lexi, stefan’s best friend, who a hundred or so years ago he’d been amiable with was attempting to open a tomb of vengeful vampires so he can get katherine back when he failed, almost killed bonnie out of rage killed alaric. not to mentioned turned and slept with his wife, elena’s bio mom. tried to kill caroline again after she was turned oh and don’t forget - killed jeremy when elena rejected him tortured and killed mason lockwood. killed that random jessica girl in the middle of the road as part of his existential crisis, lest we forget, everything is about him, guys. um, have been brainwashing and raping and abusing andie starr. same routine with caroline, rinse and repeat. killed alaric again, because he was pissing him off. i’m sure other people can list shitloads more, but that’s just off the top of my head. nobody’s saying stefan’s the white prince - not anymore, anyway - and his crimes number among the dozens too, being the motherfucking ripper of monterey, but jesus christ dude. i swear to god. don’t be delusional. damon is far from the white knight. and who’s the ‘everybody’ that you’re talking about? as far as i know, nobody has ever called damon the bad brother in the past two seasons. speaking of shallow: this confession. epitome of shallow. also you’re taking the quote out of context to make your point. the actual quote was ‘he doesn’t deserve you. neither of us do.’ boom.
